SHAUN PARKES - fornerly sparx, now PARKES FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY
PARKES has been taking photographs for over 40 years. Originally borrowing his dad's old 35mm film SLR, bought his own Chinon CE4 35 mm SLR camera and began photographing aircraft at airshows, flora and fauna, and family members at almost every opportunity.
Now having caught up with the digital era, uses Nikon DSLRs and Nikon / Nikkor and Sigma lenses, photographing landscapes, aviation, sports, and humans too! From mates to models, has worked photographing new and aspiring models in portfolio build shoots, up to professional models in studio shoots. Specialities are AVIATION, WILDLIFE, RUGBY, RUNNING, LANDSCAPES, PORTRAITS, GLAMOUR, BOUDOIR AND MODEL PORTFOLIOS.
PARKES loves taking photographs - if it can be 'shot', he'll shoot it! (But if it starts shooting back, he might just dive for cover!)
